At Metco Installation Services, we want to ensure you have the right equipment for your warehouse and packaging needs. We accept returns and exchanges for both defective and non-defective products within 30 days of the delivery date.
1. Return Eligibility & Condition
We accept returns for items in the following conditions:
- New: Unopened and in original packaging.
- Slightly Used: Items that have been opened or lightly tested but remain in resalable condition.
2. Return Process & Methods
To initiate a return or exchange, please contact us at sales@metcoinstallation.com or call (403) 454-0244 to receive a Return Authorization (RA) number.
You may return your items via:
- In-Store Drop-off: Bring the item to our Calgary or Edmonton branches.
- At a Drop-off Location: We will provide instructions for the nearest authorized drop-off point.
3. Fees & Costs
- Defective/Damaged Items: If your item arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, please notify us within 5 business days. We will provide a full refund or replacement at no cost to you.
- Non-Defective Returns: For "buyer’s remorse" returns (e.g., changed mind, ordered wrong part), a 20% restocking fee will be deducted from your total refund.
- Return Shipping: Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping items back to our warehouse or drop-off locations for non-defective returns.
4. Refund Processing Time
Once your return is received and inspected at our facility, we will process your refund back to your original payment method. Please allow 10 days for the refund to appear in your account.
5. Exchanges
We accept exchanges for different models or specifications. Please contact our sales team within the 30-day window to coordinate the swap.
6. Non-Returnable Conditions:
- Opened coils or packages
- Partial quantities
- Products used or installed
- Damage caused by improper storage or handling
- Products ordered to customer specifications
